The words, "request the honour of your presence" and "request the pleasure of your company" are NOT interchangeable when it comes to wedding invitations. The former applies to a wedding held on hallowed ground, a church or synagogue, for example. The latter to one held outside a sanctuary, for example, a hotel, home, or catering facility.
